Which works out better for you?

HELLO THE FORUM!!

Just a quick one to see which one you prefer?

Long and short is, $15,000 is my goal by the end of 2010. I Have a couple of ideas for products that (I hope) can help me reach that target.

Trouble is, I can't quite decide between focusing on "small ticket" or "large ticket" - I have ideas for both. Because we're nearing October, I've only got a small amount of time to reach it.

In your experience, do you prefer selling more lower-ticket items, or fewer higher-ticket items?

Cheers,

Newbim.

  • I do much better with lower ticket items, but that's as part of a longer term strategy, selling lower ticket items to the same people multiple times.

If you're only ever likely to make one sale, the higher ticket market is the way to go.

Lower Ticket items will be easier to sell but it will take more sales to reach your goal. I think it also depends on what you are calling lower ticket items. Items that are like $7, $19, $27, $47?

My personal experience has been that prices below $10 - $12 are more difficult to sell. I have always thought it was a value thing. "If it is priced so low then it must not be worth my time" type of mentality. $27 - $47 has always been my sweet spot.

    Just my opinion

To make Frank Kern, Mike Filsaime etc. type income you have to go with high ticket items.

    In all reality...

It really depends on how you choose to target your market.

You can go for the less expensive route. It would broaden your market to some degree but the downfall is in the returns, chargebacks, etc. These ppl tend to be impulse buyers.

The higher end products tend to attract the calculated buyer. They buy for a purpose and less likely to have buyers remorse.

i understand the importance of going for high ticket to make 'real' comms but i've had steady success with lower ticket items.

the highest ticket item i sell as an affiliate very well is at $600 so depends whether you see that as low ticket or high ticket?

    Lower-ticket item is fast sale.
Higher-ticket items is long term profit.
The best system for me is to concentrate on one strategy or item.
