Amazing Article Conversion Rate (kinda)

So, I recently started submiting articles to sites where I can put affiliate links throughout. I submitted and article, and out of 5 views, I have four hops. No sales, but I just submited yesterday. I would like some help though. Can some fellow members share some simple strategies how they backlink to their articles? I would appreciate it very much. If not, thanks for reading! Cheers!

    Not to take the wind out of your wings, but those hops could have been search engine spiders and social media bots.

    As to linking your articles, all methods are on the table.

    Links from blogs, forums, other articles, social media...

    In the ideal world, if your article is strong enough, you will not have to do all the linking yourself... People who read your article and like it will link to it also... You only need to worry about getting the first wave of readers, and the rest will take care of itself.

    Alright tpw, thanks for that. I was slightly confused about the hops but am now cleared up. Wind is still behind my wings (as tiny as they are).

    I suppose all start trying blog links, and I dunno what else. I never liked linking articles to eachother though... But thanks a ton good sir!

      No prob. I do most of my linking from blogs and social media. I only occasionally link from one article to another, and never in the link wheel kind of way.
