Anyone Do Ezine's Premium Membership?... Question

That's the paid version, not the top level of the free (platinum).

I did it for awhile and thought it was okay, nothing amazing but my membership auto renewed without my realizing it recently so I figured I'd give it that much longer to try it a bit more before I cast it off.

My question for those who use it is do you have a favorite or think there is a best time to "launch" your article? It's one of the better features but I really have no idea how to best benefit from it to maximize the short term views of my articles.

I do the SEO thing with them, as well, but I do enjoy the initial flood of views which they receive when they are first launched, so I was just wondering what the best time to put them out there might be.

    Hi RBF

I would be interested to hear peoples views on this. Personally I do not focus on or measure the amount of response based on the time published. Quite simply I get my articles published and then maybe do a bit of backling to each one.

Yeah when you're focused on SEO with article marketing you kind of discount that first burst of surface level traffic which makes sense, I mean it's really just a bonus if you're focused on SEO as you should be, but I don't know, maybe someone has the secret best time to publish an article for that burst and they're willing (or unwilling) to share it.

It probably depends on where you want your marketing to go. Who are you targeting? Moms at home looking to work from home? Moms would be busy in the early am, lunch time, cleaning, making dinner, shopping, taking care of kids after school, then spending their "free" time on the computer--so that's various possible points in the day, and possibly later in the evening. If it's people with a 9-5 job, there's travel time home, and either eat out or come home to make dinner, then sit on their computers for a while before it's time to sleep and start all over again. If it's self-employed people who already work on their computers during the day/evening...knowing their break time for "free" time to surf could be difficult.

Get a handle on the type of people you want to target.

Next, consider the day of the week. Fridays are likely bad, depending on the time of day. Evenings might not be profitable at all. Weekends are usually hectic and a lot of people are still dragging on Monday from the weekend.

Check the forums where your target audience are likely to hang out and watch to see when more people are posting.

No there isn't anything that makes MUCH difference, in the markets I've tested.

The main benefit of the paid service is that you can upload all your articles at once and schedule them to go live every few days... instead of having to log in every few days and add a new one.
(and, of course, the 1 hour approvals!)
