Hey, I'm looking to write a PDF format guide and was wondering if there are any good and free PDF software options which make creating them simple which you use?

    OpenOffice.

(and a lot of other tools that can be found by googling for them - or searching the forums)

My favourite free PDF maker is called PrimoPDF.

So easy and quick to use.

Here's a copy of eWriterPro for you ...

You can sell it for profit and/or give it away as a bonus.

    Enjoy!

Open office is great. We use it all the time for our PDF products. You have the equivalent power of Microsoft office and making the PDF is just a click of a button. You can even set security settings on the document with just a few simple clicks.

Update time. The zip file link brings up a 404 (File Not Found) error, so I'm guessing Allen had to pull the offer for some reason.

        That's a darn shame.

It's a lovely tool, I use it every day.

Google "cute pdf writer"... free, and real good. OpenOffice is the preferred app though.

Open office or Primo PDF user here too but I love Primo PDF more because of its commenting tools and notes. Can add up additional info for your upcoming IM products.
