Where can I find the best guide to creating a project?

I have all of my jazz ready to go, but its a million pieces and totally disorganized.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a "Product Creation" system?

    Ok my suggestion is that you do a simple project plan.

    Normally I do the following on a spreadsheet.

    1) Break the project down into steps set out in the logical order of production/requirement. You make need to brainstorm every single step.


    2) Add a target completion date for each task.

    3) and also set a time budget i.e. allocate a sensible amount of time to complete that step.

    4) Start with the first item and keep working at it until you can do no more for the time being or until it is completed.

    5) Then move to the next step and do the same.

    Just focus on each step of the plan until all the steps are completed ... job done
