OMG Roy! I found myself feeling vertigo just sitting here in my chair watching.

What work has to be done at the top? The only things I can think of would be changing the strobe bulb and inspecting coax connections.

That looked like 8 or 10 inch coax for the transmission line!

  Well, inspections and changing of equipment and cables etc. I used to be in G.R.I.S. (Stands for Ground Radar Installation Squadron). This squadron was involved in installing new towers and equipment for ground to air communications.
  
  The scariest job was when I was working on the aerial farm on top of the rock of Gibraltar. A 350 foot tower and when you got to the top and was working on the outside leg of the tower, you were also looking down another 1,200 foot of cliff!!
