My last bump stayed on the front page about 2 hours longer by my
estimate. I don't have an exact figure.

But it hasn't been a dramatic difference IMO.

Of course it's probably too soon to tell.

As a regular buyer of WSOs, the first page seems to be moving much slower to me since the change.

Even if not, the forum will be getting extra money - which can only be a good thing for the long term.

Hi Kim,

From what I've seen, it seems like it, but this is only an impression and not based on any actual data.

That being said, I would agree that it's a bit too early to know for sure. It's only been a few days, and the WSO section may still be regaining its bearings. Either way, it will be interesting to see how everything plays out.

I haven't noticed any difference - but when I saw your post it did make me wonder - what the reason was for the price change. I can't imagine it was just to try and slow things down - it used to be free, so adding a charge wasn't enough to make any long term difference, so I just assumed the change was about something else/more.

I wondered the same thing and tracked some WSOs. Late last week the board was moving much slower giving more value to sellers despite the fee doubling.

Currently, the board has picked up speed again. Offers are not moving off the 1st page as quickly as before, but I'm not sure one now gets twice as much time on page 1 for twice the fee.

Personally, I wouldn't say the offers are any better than before. Scams are still there. Although the WSO forum is still far better than other offer forums I have seen.

Yes I wondered if that would happen, i.e slow down for a while then spped up again.

I agree, its still an excellent place to sell your stuff, shame we can't just poof the scammers out of existance
