Tool to count CTR on articles?

Hi,

I have work for a company having a couple of medium large sites where we are looking to start counting CTR on the articles (No, we have not done it in the past) to get some good KPI:s to work on.

Anyone have any good hints?
Best would be a simple tool where we only implemented a tag on our pages (same as Google analytics) and then we get check reporting etc, so we do not have to tag up every link manually ourselfs.

Looking for good fast answers (preparing for a discussion tomorrow at work) :-)

Thanks in advance,
Rickard

Well, Google Analytics is great to track the sources of your traffic.

However, if you want something simple that can allow you easily track your click thru rate then I would recommend you try:

    "bit.ly"

Just type that in, as you see it, no need for ".com" or anything like that.

I've used it many times and gives me a good idea of the amount of clicks I get on my articles.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,
Thanks for the answer but you are misunderstanding.

I am looking for something to tracking the ctr´s on articles(new articles etc) internally on our sites so we know better what services to promote and advertisers we attract, as we then see how interested our visitors are in different topics.
Tools like this Norwegian company I found:
    onsite.no/linkpulse/

    Thanks,
    Rickard
