The best strategy when setting up a new niche site?

I feel like I am stuck and have hit a fork in the road. I would appreciate your help to allow me to decide which path I should go down.

I have selected my niche, done keyword search, registered a domain, created a site theme and added 4-5 unique articles. The keyword gets about 30-60k searches a month. At present I am working on creating backlinks. But before I do that I need to know what direction I should be taking.

I don't know whether to:
- Use these articles to create an eBook, and then use the site only for the purposes of creating a list - and that way remove the free articles on my site as they would be incorporated in the eBook
- Futher develop the site by adding more articles and then create an eBook on a more general nice (as I would probably run out of content to write about as it would be used up in the free articles) and advertise/promote the product like crazy pointing to a different domain
- Concentrate on providing as many free resources as possible, and relying just on adsense earnings (in the style of plenty of fish).

Would appreciate your advice!

Cheers

Decide how you want to monetize, CPA, Affiliate, Adsense, Product. This will help you decide how you want to go about building backlinks and to what pages of your site.

Developing your site by creating more article will help you a lot to get good position. Content is more interesting point, so be sure that the content to your article is good enough to help people so that more visitors will be attracted towards it.

      Kenny,
What I am going to suggest is a lot of work. Can you create three sites in the same niche, each targeting the methods you want to use? This way you can test and see which one works well for your niche.

This is also a good way of niche domination if it is a lucrative one.
