Default LINK CLOAKING.... Question.

Hey Everyone,

I have a few aff cpa links that i run a decent amount of traffic through everyday... I DO NOT want the CPA networks to be able to see the website that i have these link on ( I.E. I dont want them to be able to track the link )

This is what I am doing:

I start with the aff link.... Then i take one of my other domains and redirect it to that aff link... Then i take another domain and and redirect it to what will now be the middle domain... It looks like this

First domain which is the Click Here buton on my website redirects to --------> Middle domain, middle domain redirects to ---------------> Affiliate link which is my CPA offer where the complete the desired action. (link 1 ---> link 2 ---> aff link)

Now should this work?

I was originally told that its would TOTALLY CLOAK the link... But i have been lead to think other wise because a few of the cpa companies can clearly see the website!

PLEASE HELP!

IF YOU KNOW OF A WAY TO CLOAK THE LINK THAT WILL WORK ( THIS WAS OR NOT ) PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

Thanks,

Micah Rush

I assume you are trying to send "unwanted or unqualified" people to your CPA networks, not matter what you do they will soon find out. If this is not your purpose, or maybe even if it is you might find more help here...

Yes, i know about that section.... But this quesiont has not much to do with CPA at all.... This is a Link Cloaking question...

And NO, i simply do not want the CPA networks stealing ideas... Which they do, if you have been in CPA a while then you know that.

Thanks,

It sounds like you are wanting to 'Hide your Referring URL', not cloak a link... unless I'm wrong, you can cloak your links using my Free Affiliate Link Cloaker

More info about hiding your referring url...

After doing some research on this, it looks like the best way to hide your referrer is by using : "Double meta refresh" just do a G search on this term and you should find the info you are looking for.

in that case you just want to mask the referral...
int that case it won't work either see this
CSS History Hack

but you might try this they offer a double meta refresh, which is supposed? to be effective...

Micah, when you talk about REDIRECTING ... no matter how many times you redirect the link, the landing page must have your affiliate IDs to the URLs ...

eg: afflink -makemerichovernight.com?affid=1010
First link yourdomain.com/clickhere.php > redirects to yourdomain.com/redirect.php > redirects to makemerichovernight.com?affid=1010

The browser will again show the affid. Unless the affiliate site, captures this affid and reloads to hide it.

I would not say this is LINK CLOAKING ... Try this code I put on my site: Cloak Affiliate Links | Raakesh.com

This script and many others are available on the web ...

Raakesh (Blokh)
Raakesh.com - My Web Presence. All about me and my products.
LongTailMagic.com - Analytics Software helps you track actual search terms and other visitor information.
InstantLP.com - Generate high Quality Score landing pages with just a few clicks.

Why not just follow the CPA networks' rules and TOS? They have them in place for a reason...to protect themselves, their advertisers, AND their affiliates.

I'm a bit surprised this question actually got 'helpful' replies. Wouldn't expect that here.
