Shopping Cart & Autoresponder Integration

Hey Guys,

Does anyone know of a Shopping Cart that integrates well with it's autoresponder?

Specifically, we're looking for ...

1) Decent deliverability. My main concern with 1 Shopping Cart is low deliverability rate.
2) Able to automatically move someone from list to list based on their purchase.

For example, person signs up on Squeeze Page and gets on "Prospects" list.

Then they make a purchase, they should be moved to "Buyers" list, and no longer get "Prospect" emails and only get "Buyer" emails.

My understanding is that 1SC allows you to add them to new lists based on purchases but can't remove it from the old list automatically.

3) A shopping cart that doesn't send an email out automatically every time a recurring billing happens. Every time a continuity product bills in many of the shopping carts, including 1SC, it sends them an email reminding them that they're getting billed. (Customer retention much?) We're looking for a system that doesn't do that.

Infusion does all of the above, but is above our price range at the moment ($4000 startup + $400/mo.)

If anyone has any recommendations, they'd be hugely, hugely appreciated.

Thanks!

- Derek

    Derek,

Why in the world would you want your customers NOT to know they're being billed? Seems like you would be making huge headaches for yourself in straightening out billing issues.

I am wondering if it is even legal to charge someone for a service and not to notify them of it in some way.

      Because it reduces retention rate.

Obviously, they know they're getting billed as they agreed to be billed for it in the first place.

Sam: Thanks for that! I'll look into that combo.

If there's any other suggestions as well, it'd be much appreciated.

      Cheers,

    Hi Derek,

What kind of shopping cart system are you after? Did you want to sell "Buy Now" products, or is it more of a normal shopping cart where people make a select of different products, and then buy them in one go?

DLGuard will do both for you, and you can link it to GetResponse which has the automatic customer "moving" from list to list, I believe.

Let me know if you'd like me to clarify any of this!

    cheers
    Sam
