I know that you are looking for free music, but I think that opens up such a minefield of potential problems, I know that I want to make sure that anything I ever create, (especially if it ever becomes TRULY VIRAL) I want a 100% guarantee FOREVER, that I will never get hit with some retrospective legal nightmare that could cost thousands...

so, putting a plug for the person I bought two sets of soundracks from... at a totally ridiculous price... and if you are (really) in business, and intend to make money, you would not even blink at investing in a couple of her sound packs... you will get variety to use for a lifetime from them...

I just bought another one that came out today... check the search for her WSO for:
Ginny Culp... I bought the "Ginny's Greatest Hits Collection '07-'08" to add to my other purchase a few weeks ago.

I feel so much better knowing that I can create my material being absolutely certain that I can sleep at night and not have to worry... I think some things are just too dangerous to risk otherwise...

I don't think the OP asked for FREE music, he asked for Royalty Free Music ie Music that is free from ongoing royalties - you only pay an initial charge to download.

my friend Wes produced almost all of this entire massive library.

Massive selection, listen to anything before you buy. Plenty of "IM music" in there.

Royalty Free Music, Buyout Music, Download full CDs, Production Music

I've been using them since 2001 for projects.

Here is another great resource.

Royalty Free Music Licensing, Stock Music, Production Music, Sound Effects, Royalty-Free Classical Music, Synchronization Licenses

There are tons more in the rolodex, but those are two that can help you out immediately.

Digital Juice has great package deals like others were saying.

We like to use Stock20, as they have different sound track lengths, and offer great discounts at times to current customers.
