Greetings, no sob stories because I know all of you don't need to go to sleep right now, however I'm a new (&poor) dad learning the marketing biz. I don't want to make millions, uh, but where should I start?

Maybe "consumer wealth system" or paid surveys???

You can stop laughing now.

I want to learn what kinds of things a newbie can get into as I learn hands on. Thankfully it sounds like people hear really know what they're talking about. I don't believe any of the scam sites that say they want to help others to make anything, why would they? But I figure someone will have mercy on my soul and point me in a direction.

I volunteer for the crisis line, throw me some good karma?

Take care and thanks for your time.

Eli

Welcome to the Warrior forum Eli!No one is laughing. There are lots of members here that are newbies and struggling to make some money online.Don't worry, you won't be left alone.

You may ask any questions you have, read some older threads and take action as learning. For a newbie, article marketing is always a good -and FREE- strategy to get you started.Don't get disappointed though if you don't see immediate results. It may take some time.

Also, if you can afford it, i would advise you to invest 37$ into a War Room Membership here at the WF.It's money well spent, trust me.

Wish you the best of luck and success!

    Dimitris

    Hey Eli,
Welcome! The first thing you need to work out is what type of internet marketing interests you and/or suits your skills. There are hundreds of ways to earn money online tbh. Have a look at the 'all in one' thread right at the top of this section. This covers many of the popular ways to make money online and discusses methods of doing so for each method. I'll also add that it's good to plan. So after you've worked out what area you like of IM then work out how you'll use it to achieve your own goals. Stick to that method and try not to get distracted by the latest hot thing that is making everyone billionaires!

    Good luck

    Rich

    learn sales

focus on finding a market where people have questions... answer the questions... then point them to your affiliate offer.

of course it doesn't hurt to build a list while doing that as well.

focus more on marketing concepts rather than "tips and tricks"

Eli, I like your sense of humor already. And you're right. Any page that has a buy button and the words "I just want to help you" is fibbing about something.

There are a pile of ways to make money, but they all ultimately involve trading value for dollars. Whether that's providing a service, creating and selling a product, or providing leads/prospects on commission (aka affiliate marketing), you have to provide at least a fair trade if you want to sustain.

Do some grazing here in the main forum, get that War Room membership if you can swing it, and don't be afraid to ask questions. You'll find something that trips your trigger, and you'll be off to the races.

If you're confident about your in person speaking skills then offline might be a good way to go and it will allow you to stay away from this horrid computer screen for hours on end as well.

High Demand Urgency + High Market Buying Power + High Product/Service Unique Selling Proposition Value + High Product/Service General Value + High Product/Service Demand Volume + High Product/Service Marketing Effectiveness + Excellent Customer Relations/Support + Good Product/Service Pricing Competitiveness + Low Competitor Strength + Lack of Supply + Great Brand Reputation + Extensive Brand Exposure = Profitable Business

    1) Recession
    2) Green Power
    3) Senior Market
    4) Discount Retail
    5) Education
    6) Parental Outsourcing
    7) Health and Wellness
    8) Texas
    9) Affordable Alcohol
    10) Pets

I'll consider the equation above. I'll then choose one out of the 10 listed niches above. Afterwards, I'll choose a set of demands under that niche, choose a service or product which can satisfy those demands, develop that product or service, incorporate a unique selling proposition, know my competitors, what they're marketing, how they're marketing, where they're marketing, where they're advertising, how they're advertising, how they talk to their target market, who their target market is, how strong are my competitors, etc. Then, I'll go to places where people, who have the set of demands which can be answered by my products/services, frequently hang out, so I can constantly build my reputation as a friendly expert source of useful and relevant info/advice/content by contributing free content/info/advice useful and relevant to the set of demands I chose to satisfy with my products/services, exposing links pointing to my sites with supplementary info/advice/content, all while softselling and subtlely advertising my relevant products and services when it's the right time to do so.

Hmmm... since this sounds like a lot of work, I think I'll hire a group of people I greatly trust and will extensively train to do all these for me, while I retire at an Asian island beach resort with my family and friends, as a dedicated musician.
