WordPress and Twitter

I wonder if anyone else is having this problem or know a solution.
I am unable to log into my twitter account from my blog. You know when you have the twitter plug in and and go to "Twitter Tool Option" then enter username and password, test log in. I keep getting "log in failed double check that username and password".

I can go to the twitter page and log in using that same username and password. I just can't do it from wordpress.

    Might be an issue with the plugin, or with Twitter itself. Twitter got hacked yesterday and was really slow the last time I checked it.

    Is the plugin/wordpress updated to the latest version?

    Just upgraded plug in. Jumped through all the hoops and still cannot log in via WP.

      About the thing I can recommend is to uninstall and reinstall the plugin. Failing that, contact the programmer of the plugin and see if there are issues.

      With the hacking of Twitter yesterday, maybe some third party applications are affected as well.
