Selling An Ebook On Amazon?

ok so im just curious, how much exposure does Amazon.com give you? Im guessing its much like Clickbank where nobody sees your new product right unless you drive traffic to it? I have always wondered this though and wanted to ask

Once you have it in their catalog it will show up in their searches. I believe you have to get an ISBN ?? number to list your ebook on Amazon though.
