Do any of you using WP have a link to your squeeze page on your navigation bar AFTER users opt in?

I was wondering whether those of you who use wordpress for your product review sites and have a squeeze page up, do you give users access to your squeeze page through the navigation bar AFTER they opt into your site from the squeeze page?

To clarify what I'm talking about, I'm still in the process of converting my review site from a static site over to wordpress, and I was able to integrate my non wordpress squeeze page into my wordpress site. However, I set my squeeze page visibility to private because I wanted it to be the default page (www.mydomain.com) but I didn't want users to be able to access it through the navigation bar after they opt into the site. However, now that the site is set to private, it doesn't show up in the drop down menu on the Settings->Read page for what page I can choose as the front page for my site. I figure this is because the page is set to private. To rectify this, I know that I have to make my squeeze page public and allow it to show up on the navigation bar.

Is there a way around this or do I have to accept things the way they are and allow users access to my squeeze page through the navigation bar?

Do any of you allow access to your squeeze page through the navigation bar AFTER they opt in?

....and BTW, this wordpress has big learning curve.....sheesh!

1st, if it is set to 'Private', no one can access the page. Only you, when you are logged in. No one else can see it or access it.

2nd, you can still set it to be the home page and NOT show the link in your NAV bar. You simply need to remove that from your menu system. Depending on the version of WP and the Theme you are using that can be as simple as creating a custom menu in WP3+ or use a plugin to choose which links appear in the NAV bar or just edit the code in the Theme.

      Okay, cool, gotcha...thanks a lot!
Do you know of any plugins offhand that can do this?
