Best Place to Sell a Wordpress Plug-In?

Awhile back, I had a programmer create a simple Wordpress plug-in that performs one simple function: It translates all post TITLES on your Wordpress blog into any language of your choosing. (It uses the Google API) I've used this plug-in on all my blogs and it works great...and now that the work is done, I want to sell this plug-in for $9.

I've googled phrases like "best place to sell a Wordpress plug-in" but don't find any good venues. There is one site -- wpplugins.com/ -- that acts as a marketplace for selling premium plug-ins, but the site appears dormant and the last time I tried selling on the site, my plug-in sat for weeks in a 'pending' state. Emails to the company went unanswered.

I haven't created a WSO, but I get the feeling that that's not the best venue to sell a simple plug-in like mine.

Any thoughts on the best marketplaces to sell Wordpress plug-ins?

Try here first on the Warrior forum with a good sales copy and see the reaction of the members here first! You could also go out to other forums like "Digitalpoint" or "ewealth" etc., but I suggest you to remain here and check out other members' opinions first!

    Well,

I think you could make it a free plugin, and maybe just use donations to get funds. I've seen this used a ton of times. Your other option I guess would be to list it on a paid plugins marketplace.. I'm not sure exactly where you could find one.

I've noticed though, half the WP Plugins, I use.. Have really annoying donate buttons all over this place.. It works I guess..

      1. Create your own site to feature the plugin

      2. Make sure you have a link back to your site in the plugin coding

      3. Offer the plugin for free as incentive to sign up to a list - or

      4. Make a complimentary offer that goes with the plugin and offer the plugin as a bonus or

      5. Run it as a WSO at a cheaper price (as it has to be a "special" offer") and

I've used this plug-in on all my blogs and it works great...
Explain to us in the WSO why your plugin works great and how it has increased your conversions on your site.

If you can convince me this feature will help me make more money, then I may be interested in buying it.

Set up your sales funnel appropriately.

Agreed, WSO is a very good place to promote such a plugin.
I think that a 9$ tag price is a bit low (beware of the cheap price syndrome) and you also have no margin to sell it to warriors.
If you do a good job building a sales page I guess you can charge 17$ and then 9$ for warriors.
I will be happy to buy it for 9$, please send me a PM
