How old is my site?
I've heard that one of the things google uses to rank search results is the age of the site. Older is presumed to be better. So, searching around I found a number of tools that will tell you how old a domain is.
Popping in my domain name they all say that my domain is over 6 years old. I've only owned the domain for 4 months so this was a surprise. I guess they start the clock when the very first person bought it?
Knowing this, when buying a domain would it be worthwhile to search for a previously-owned domain to help increase PR?
