Creating a Mailing List - How Can I do this?

Hi All,

A thought just entered my mind . . . . something that I should of done a long time ago!

So, I've started to "Flip" websites, I've sold around ten now - but I've yet to set up some kind of mailing list for my customers!

I don't know why I didn't think of this before, but better late than never!
How do I go about creating a mailing list? I'd prefer a free one at the moment, one that I can set up easily, and add/remove addresses easily . . . .

I have a mailing lit add-on for Wordpress, but I'd like something that can be used without creating a whole new Wordpress site . . .

Any suggestions?

    I use the Codebanter plug-in for Wordpress. No need to start a new blog, you
    can add it at anytime to an existing blog.

    I would reccomend using one of the paid services for your autoresponder. I love Aweber, but there are others. Hell, it's only 20 bucks/month, and they have the BEST customer service. Video tutorials will walk you step by step thru setting up, and they have online chat is you are still stuck.

      I use Aweber.

      - next time when some purchases a site from you, make them go through your email squeeze..i.e. capture their email address.

      * a list of buyers is one of the most valuable assets you will ever have.

    Sorry for the delay in replying to this thread!

    Ideally I need something that I can point the customer too after the sale, a website etc, I'm not to sure how I can implement this after an ebay sale however?

    My choice is getresponse. you can pay I think 17.95 a month (dollars) and its a five minute job to set up the mailing list. A pure joy and if youre serious about business from email you need an autoresponder, money well spent...
