Hi,

Came across this google Project :

the following winners offer a gold mine of public domain info for niche research and product creation.

Public.Resource.Org

Khan Academy

Hope you find these resources useful

  • Looks like the info is already in place these are just consolidators. People who know how to find what they want already access these resources some of which are just recompiled youtube videos.

Plagiarism never really make money but I suppose for those who can figure out how to leverage existing content this could be a good thing for them.

This stuff isn't very commercial in nature so one must figure out a plan to use this.

    This is dangerous advice.

I did some research on one of your links (Creative Commons — Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 United States,)

And this is what they have said:

Notice For any reuse or distribution, you must make clear to others the license terms of this work.
The best way to do this is with a link to this web page.

Which, ultimately, means that this clearly is NOT in the Public Domain.

    Cheers,

    Hi all,

One of my favorite places to get some great info on public domain materials is at this site. I found them to be very helpful. There articles are top notch. They are very willing to answer questions.

    Thank you all for feedback.

Yes I should have pointed out that the Khan library is more for research and education rather than a straightforward PD resource. Although the material can be used if properly attributed.

Careful not to lump both resource in the same pot , there is nothing dangerous in
mining Public resources.org and as for the Khan library , I would see nothing untoward in using the materials with the proper attribution.

Now I have to say, public domain treasure hunter is awesome, thank you for the link.
