Aweber Help - using graphical opt in box

Hello Warriors,

I got a question I hope you can help me with. I recently had some graphics made for a product I'm about to start giving away.

The graphics package came with a graphical opt-in box that matches the theme of the product and site. How do I make that box work with my aweber account?

Thanks.

    Wherever you place the graphics box on your page, you would go to the html view and paste the Aweber code. You may have to adjust the size to make it fit.

    Hope that helps.

    If its a graphical opt in box using tables, then it might go something like this -

    Code:
    <form action="Email Newsletter AWeber Form" enctype="application/x-www-form-urlencoded" method="post">
    <table style="width: 312px; height: 98px;" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="3" width="312">
    <tbody>
    <tr>
    <td width="182" height="2" align="left">
    <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma; color: #000000; font-size: small;">First Name:</span></p>
    </td>
    <td width="184" height="2">
    <input name="name" type="text" /></td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td width="182" height="2" align="left">
    <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma; color: #000000; font-size: small;">Email Address:</span></p>
    </td>
    <td width="184" height="2">
    <input name="from" type="text" /></td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td colspan="2" width="366" height="2">
    <p style="text-align: center;">
    <input name="submit" type="submit" value="Send My FREE Report!" /></p>
    </td>
    </tr>
    </tbody>
    </table>
    </form>
    <form action="Email Newsletter AWeber Form" enctype="application/x-www-form-urlencoded" method="post"> <span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #000000; font-size: xx-small;"> </span></form>

    You could try and make the images work with aweber instead of aweber work with your provided content. To customize your aweber box, go to the body section of your box and change your background image. If you have a graphics package then you will have several to choose from.

    okay, I did further research through aweber's knowledge base and came up with the same code listed above. This was in an article named 'can i used my own form'.

    Now, how do I link this code to my grapich opt in box?

    Here is where I'm trying to do this at: Your Title Here

    There is no sales copy or anything, this is just the images.
    You can see the graphical opt in box that I'm trying to use.

    someone please help if you can. Thanx

      Hi Coby,

      Below is the code I lifted from the source of the link you gave with the aweber code inserted.

      Bear in mind I no longer use aweber so it may need some tweaking, especially the submit button image, but it might get you going in the right direction.

      Open your optin page in a text editor or html editor and look for the code below which starts at around

      line 27

      and ends at about

      line 54.

      Just replace it with the code below and see what happens.

      Make sure you keep a copy of your original page though!

      HTML Code:
      <table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="409" id="table3">
                                   <form action="http://www.aweber.com/scripts/addlead.pl" enctype="application/x-www-form-urlencoded" method="post">
              <tr>
               <td>
               <img border="0" src="http://www.warriorforum.com/images/optin_05.jpg" width="409" height="56"></td>
              </tr>
              <tr>
               <td style="background-image: url('images/optin_11.jpg'); background-repeat: repeat-y">
               <p align="center"><br>
                    <input name="name" onFocus="clearText(this)" value="Enter your first name" type="text" id="name" style="width:280px;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight:bold; font-size:16px; border:1px solid #c0c0c0; padding:7px; color:#333333;padding:10px;" size="21" /><br>
               <br>
                    <input name="from" onFocus="clearText(this)" value="Enter your email address" type="text" id="from" style="width:280px;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight:bold; font-size:16px; border:1px solid #c0c0c0; padding:7px; color:#333333;padding:10px;" size="21" /></p>

    I'm not sure I can give you the full answer on this but I hope this might point you in the right direction. I watched a video once about this. I think one way of doing this is to use an html editor and create a new page with the image as background. You then split the page and put a table over the image and put your aweber code in the table. I remember trying to do this with NVU without much success. I think the video showed it done with Dreamweaver. If you don't get any better answers send me a pm and I'll try to find the video for you. All the best,
    Paul
