INTERNET MARKETING

I'm looking to get my articles ranked high on google. which article directory is less stressful to submit to and has a lot of ranking power. thanks for all your responses.

EzineArticles and GoArticles are both very good. You could also try setting up a Squidoo lens or Hubpages hub with your articles, they rank well.

I like ezinearticles, buzzle, articlebase, article dashboard and goarticles. None of these are too stressfull to submit to. You will of course have to wait for approval, but usually not too long. These are all high pagerank sites that google crawls frequently so a well optimized article will rank well in google. Remember you will have to build quality backlinks to your articles to maintain your ranking as well as obtain ranking for very competitive keywords.

I have always used Ezine and been satisfied with the results - mainly Health and Fitness and IM.

I post to ezinearticles, goarticles, articlesbase, articledashboard, ideamarketers, and searchwarp. All of these sites get me good traffic to my website.

  Personally, I have had the most success with Ezine. By a long way actually.
  
  I have had articles rank well and get search traffic.
  
  Go Articles and Articles Base come a distant second.

Stressful? None of them are stressful. Buzzle might be the only one many people find stressful since they require unique content.

Ranking power? Here is the easiest way to answer the question for yourself. Take your keyword phrases you are considering, see which directories are ranking highly for the phrases. Use them. (EZA, Articlesbase, and GoArticles often can beat other directories.)

Get more quality backlinks and you will almost always rank higher on Google than them.

Make sure you follow the link in Alexa's post, it is one of the best lessons you will find on the forum. Grab a six-pack of beer or a full pot of coffee before you start.

Hint: Your content on your own blog should be the one you want ranking highest.

You can try articlebase. It works well for me for keyword under 20k competition. My article got #1 page easily.

  Post it to as many article directories as possible, the more exposure the better. Always start with your own blog and ezine first though. After that the sky is the limit.

Ezine articles, goarticles, ehow, about are all good sites. You want to post your article on as many sites as possible. You may want to google article sites as more and more are created everyday.

If you want to start submit your article, just focus in few best article directory first. Don't forget to bookmark and ping your article.

All of the article directories everyone mentioned here so far were great, but another one I recently stumbled upon is InfoBarrel. Downfall - Unique content is required, but they are growing considerably. Just rewrite articles and submit them there. I've added it to my arsenal of article directories Buzzle is another high ranking article directory other than EzineArticles and ArticlesBase, but they also, like InfoBarrel, require unique content.

Pick the top 3 and post your articles daily. It is consistency that will get you ranked higher.

I'm going to share one of my best kept secrets with you all.
rantrave, is the best place to use.
Not only do they let you use your own adsense ad's, if your article is good they submit it to google news!
This is an awsome way of getting good back links.
I wrote an article about "Microsoft wants Government Licensing Internet Access"
they sent it over to google news and my adsense went crazy!

It's fast it's free and easy to use.
Anyway thats my tip.
