My Perspective About Internet Marketing Has Changed

Hello Everyone, My name is Jeremy Kelsall and I am a warrioroholic

When I started doing internet marketing just about 11 months ago, I was in it for the challenge only. Making money was good, but it wasn't necessary because I already had a great job and was making great money. Life was good

Then the economy shit the bed and my focus had to change. The good news for me what I "got it" and was able to replace my income, which was great. For months, it was all about how much money I could make and how fast, and trust me, that brought me a lot of happiness.

Now, the thing that really makes me happy is to get emails and messages from people that I have helped. Instead of running to my paypal account or to my Clickbank or one of my other income streams, I head straight to my email and my PM box here and a couple other places.

I guess the whole "journey" changes all of the time, but every step of the way it has had a positive reaction on my life.

The funny part is, the only way I even heard about Internet Marketing was from cleaning out my Spam Folder in my email inbox lol - I read one sales page and was hooked. Go figure.

I know that this post is not full of money making nuggets and all that good stuff, but when it comes to this kind of thing, my fellow warriors are the only ones that I can really share this type of stuff with.

Jeremy

    Jeremy,
I agree. I get a lot of fulfillment out of teaching and working with others. I started out in internet marketing for a different reason than you, for me it was to get out of debt and I became the sole bread winner for my household. It was a "sink or swim" type of situation for me so I had to adapt very quickly.

I am thankful that I can help others get through the hard times in the economy by giving them a back up source of income. It means a lot to me that I was able to serve and give back in some way for all the blessings I have been given in my life and especially in the past year and a half since I started in IM.

Thanks for sharing your post Jeremy.

I understand completely Jeremy. I really get the most out of life working behind the scenes while helping others to achieve success. Whether it is in business or just shoveling snow for the neighbor, it is uplifting for me.

Good for you! Keep it up!

I guess at this point, because the money is coming in anyway, It just isn't the focus anymore, but I do love the lifestyle that the money allows me to live.

I don't think I have put on a pair of Khakis and a Polo Shirt in over 3 months lol. Hell, even while I'm typing this my 3 year old is sitting in my lap fighting me for the keyboard haha

It's true, when you are doing something that you love, the money will flow.

    Hi,

    Very much agreed!

I am a very big-hearted person too, and love to help... always!

I don't even remember how I really got started, but I do remember
thinking "People pay money for instantly downloadable software."

Now I have branched out and do much more than just
selling software/ebooks and it feels really good.

    The rest is history!

    All the best,
    Jamie

I'm glad to see that so many others have the same thought process I do, for a minute I was starting to think I was weird

You are a weirdo...but your right lol...

It's actually a lot of fun when you get someone who has like 3 pieces of the puzzle left and can't figure out which goes in which place...and then you help them finish it.

Or when you find ways to help them make the tedious hard stuff easier...I get more fun out of my inbox email messages then I do my bank account anymore. Just because it is fun brainstorming with people and figuring out things and helping.

Jeremy and I work together on everything anymore...and I think that is also a key piece of the puzzle to. Finding someone to work with...So many people on forums like this and they try and go it alone. Form some partnerships! You guys will all learn so much from each other...

I was the kid who tore everything apart to see how it worked growing up LOL...So examining the way search engines work, and why a site is ranking well and another is not, and why this works and that doesn't is so much fun. My brain is in constant chaos with things I want to try and haven't been able to yet LOL...

But online marketing, seo, programming...damn it is a lot of fun. Yeah it wears you out, discourages you at times, makes you scream...but I wouldn't change it or the people I have met doing it for the world!

My wife yells at me for sitting in front of this thing so much though lol...

We are all customers in some part of the business cycle. Thanks Jeremy for paying so much attention to your customers. That will prove to be the long term benefit, customers for life.

    Well put!
Thankfully now there seem to be more and more people with your thinking out there. Even some of the "gurus" are actually starting to deliver what they promise (ie step by step instructions). Bout time after all the $'s I put down the drain.
Mind you, the quick gimme gimme hounds are still out there. Somebody invent an online anti-money-grabbin'-tech-talking sniffer dog quick.

"Yea Jeremy, Great post." From the beginner side it's good to see that kind of attitude. Too many times I know those of us who have purchased internet programs felt left out and unimportant after the sale.

I haven't found too many outside this forum however.

Jeremy, as usual I totally agree with you. To begin it was the money thing, and I will admit to a small degree it is still the money because we need a bigger house, would be great to buy a vehicle etc, but the biggest thing I now love about this game is that I can help others, stay at home with the kiddos and I don't have to leave the house anymore. Not to mention being able to "work" from a laptop on the kitchen counter while I bake or cook dinner is a great feeling.
