Hey everyone, I have a new mission: Over the course of the next 6 months I want to average $388 dollars a day. A random number, I know..but I have my reasons. But that's beside the point...I'm confident that I can do it but I would still like to hear what everyone thinks about my plan. I'll outline it with as much detail that I feel I can release without giving away any of my "secret tactics"

1. Set up a content-based website that provides people with genuine tips and information on a certain subject that I am very knowledgeable in.
I'll be targeting an entire market as opposed to just one product, allowing for greater monetization and giving me the ability to promote multiple products.

My niche is a pretty vast one so I'll be able to provide loads of content, therefore attracting a lot of traffic.

2. Traffic sources: I'm not going to get into much detail here but mainly I'll be linking, using adwords, and writing articles..(I know how to get 1st page..so I think I'm good here)

3. Monetization: I'll attract visitors to my newsletter with free PLR stuff and I'll provide subscribers with exclusive info and all that good stuff. To monetize the newsletter I'll promote CB products in some of the newsletters but only AFTER I have sufficiently built a lot of trust with my subscribers and I've established myself as an expert.
I might place a few adsense ads on the site but I think I'll run CPA offers mostly since I can control what ad is placed and the payouts are greater.

Product Reviews! Once I've gained "prestige" with my visitors and and subscribers, I'll do a weekly product review for a CB or Amazon product.
That's a rough outline for my plans with the website, there is a lot more to it but that should suffice for now.
------------------------------------------------------------------
In addition to all of the previous stuff with my website, I'll be doing a few other things..such as....

CPA via mobile: Run ads on a mobile platform that direct to a squeeze page with an email opt-in. Instead of redirecting to a Thank-you page, I'll redirect to a relevant CPA offer.

Video Marketing: This is a long shot but I'm very creative..so I think I can get some serious traffic here. The videos will be standalone so I'll place ads on the videos themselves. If I have some success here I'll work on making videos that I can use as a traffic source for my website that I spoke about a few inches ago.

I have my heart in this and I am one for taking action so I'm 110% sure that I can do this. Feel free to critique or poke fun or whatever...Thanks for your time.

Be careful about how you are monetizing the site.

I see too many things going on here.

Your visitors won't know what they are "supposed" to do.

When I visit, am I supposed to sign up to your list?

Am I supposed to click out on an adsense ad?

Am I supposed to do a CPA offer?

Am I supposed to buy a clickbank product?

It's not good to give too many choices.

Pick one way to monetize the site to begin with, and maybe test some other ways but I'd be careful about scattering in too many things at once.

You'll screw up your readers and you can screw yourself out of profits for a high end affiliate product because I saw an adsense ad to click out on which paid you only a quarter.

Hmm, So would you agree with me in saying that focusing on getting people on to my list would be the best long term monetization choice? If they are already on my list then I can monetize it in multiple ways rather then monetizing the website itself.

      Yes.

Once you get them on a list, you can direct them back to the main site as much as you want. You can recycle traffic.

Your plan is a good one. I'd like to add that persistent and consistent action is what makes all these things happen.

Keep working till, and after you see results. Yes, you can do it. All the best.

Thanks for the support, and I couldn't agree more: persistence is key.

      Don't sell CB products.
      Sell your own products.

You seem to have a good plan. I think the main thing to focus on would be to build your list , then you can sell them your products.

Let other people sell your products for you later on.

I have always heard that provide a ton of good content, build a list of loyal followers and sell them your products is the best plan.

      Good luck!
