a question about article marketing - need answer please

im not interested in getting to the top of google at the minute because im just starting out. can you get a good source of traffic doing articles marketing because i think i would feel kinda comfortable writing articles and i reakon it would be a quicker way to start generating traffic. would the traffic only last for so long if i stop writing articles or will i still get a little traffic. im think of writing about 5 - 10 articles a week. a little advice would be appreciated

    My main advice would be to write around a theme. To give you some examples of some blogs that charge a premium for their advertising, peruse something like buysellads.com and see what others have done. Writing consistent quality over time can start to attract readership, subscribers and advertising dollars.
