Product name more problems than creating the product itself...

Guys, how the hell you come up with product name!

For the likes of me this project I'm working on haven't
open up itself to a good name at all.

So my question is how do you guys come up with
kickass names for your products?

Think of action words. Think of emotional triggers. Think of the "promise" your product delivers. Then put together a list of possible names, and run each of the names past some people to see which name would interest them most (you can even do that here).

I also recommend you think about domains names and trademarks.

There's no point in calling your product "My Product" if a competitor has the domain name "MyProduct.com". A silly example but you get the point.

It's also worth looking into trademarks in case someone else has registered the name already, or something close, or if it includes a trademarked term.

          Cheers,

          Neil
