Yes. This happens to me all the time. I've realized it's my personality. I am not one of those who can work on anything that doesn't interest me. I've known people like that so I know it's possible.

I've learned the hard way that I just won't be able to make a site that bores me a success. Now, I just choose topics I find fascinating. My advice would either be to do the same, or outsource those boring projects.

I only create sites that I'm interested in - otherwise I outsource. I couldn't stand doing a topic that I find boring because it'd probably take me the whole day just to write two articles.

Depends... how much money do you think you'll be making from this site? If it's good money AND you only have to go through the drudgery once, then maybe just suck it up and get it done. But if you have to do this over and over and you hate it, then find a different type of site or project to do.

      Hi Danny,

I think it's really important to enjoy what you're doing - I've just pulled out of a project I was working on because I just couldn't find the inspiration for it. I DID it, but had to pull myself through it every step of the way.

If you enjoy what you're doing, the energy for it is self-perpetuating.

If you're close to completing it, see if you can. Maybe you can outsource the logo work to another warrior. Then, if it's something that will run on autopilot, see if you can get some gain from it. If not, think about selling it.

Either way, it would be a good idea to begin to research other niches that are of more interest to you.

      Good luck,

    Hi Danny

I've come to recognise that as a problem, and that's half the battle won. For example, I've occasionally got fed up of site designs before I've even launched them. It's important to remember that it might not seem fresh to you but it will be for others.

    Cheers,

    Hi,

    YES... I feel ya...

Sometimes looking at the same darn page
for so long over and over, making minor
changes to see how it looks and so on...

Also sometimes being at the computer for too long
can become boring at times, I guess...

I try to find other things to do in the meantime and in-between time!

Either by going out to get something to eat or
visiting the local race track for a few races, or even
the casino for a few hands and/or a live show.

Just try to step away from the computer for a
few minutes/hours and do something else!

    HTH

    Jamie

Happens all the time here. After a while you start to get tired of analyzing, researching, and writting about the exact same thing. Usually when this happens I try to work on a different project or take a short break and do something else before I go back to working on the same project.

I to get tired of looking at the same thing. So I take short breaks like step out the back door to play with dogs or go over to Facebook or My Space an talk to people about anything other that marketing. Do that for 5 or 10 mins. four or five times aday and it really helps.

I usually try to have at least two things i am working on at a time. If i get bored with my dating site, I move on to article marketing. Something like that so that you can switch if up a little bit and still be profitable...

Agreed, only work on sites you get enthusiastic about or it will never work, visitors will see through you..

I have to agree with the advice to take a break from it. I think there are other good reasons besides having a passion about something to build a site on. You obviously feel like it will be profitable, so now you need to ask yourself if it is worth your time? And then, ask yourself if you have to push yourself to get it done or does it really matter if you take your time on it and spread it out. That way you can do some more interesting projects at the same time.

To avoid getting bored I work on more projects and keep switching between projects. Some people say this is not effective, but it works for me.
