Who Is Using Fiverr For Their Outsourcing? Is It Working For You?

Fiverr is pretty cheap as in it only costs you $5 bucks to find some pretty good gigs for linkbuilding, SEO, hire marketers to Tweet messages for you to their followers, send a message out to their Facebook fan pages etc...

I have had pretty good luck finding some goods gigs to outsource some of the tedious processes of Internet marketing (mainly linkbuilding)

What are your opinions of Fiverr? Do you like it for outsourcing your work? Or would you pass on Fiverr and go elsewhere?

I've used it for a number of boring tasks.....with variable results. Most were pretty good considering what I paid....so no complaints from me.

Glad to hear you are using it with good results - the few times I went on there , it looked like most of the people offering services were young flakey looking kids

Note: I am not saying all kids are flakey! :p

It is crazy to see what some people will spend their valuable time doing for $5 LOL

I have not yet used it but definitely have near future plans for it.

I can already see smart marketers that offer services using the $5 discounted fee as a free sample to get them a client history and return business for full price... very smart

sometimes that 5$ get your other $1000 price order.
for example, I am providing backlinking services there, and my client have order 110$ package after that 5$ gigs and now he wants to order $1000 order.

        I have a part-time VA through oDesk. She's great!

And she's smart too. She has put up Fiverr gigs like "I will be Your Virtual Assistant for 1 Hour for $5.00." She collects $4.00 which is more than she normally gets as a VA through oDesk.

Hey, if it works for you.

        Joe

        P. S. If you need a VA let me know. I'll send you her link.

I messed around with Fiverr a coupe of times. The "gig" I ordered was pretty menial and non revenue generating but since I was trying to test the quality quotient the $$ I invested was a cheap test.

When I wanted to get a task done that required a higher skill level, I decided the cliche "you get what you pay for" was still true.

Elance provides a higher skilled worker and the cost per gig reflects that.

You might to look into hiring a Turk to handle some of your outsourced needs.

Well I would never have anyone on there write an ebook for me haha. Great voice talent on that site though, making the $5 seem almost like your robbing them!

Not to mention all the beautiful girls offering to take photos holding a sign with your message on it LOL... that cracked me up and the funny part is how much business these girls are actually doing on Fiverr haha

I have never used fiverr but it is almost time that I started to consider outsourcing some of the more mundane tasks that I am doing myself.

Think I will go and test it out.

There were some gigs that were absolutely fabulous but many are cr@p. I like the linkbuidling one which gives you footer link on all their sites. I got thousands of quality links on several.

I also like their facebook fans but you got to sort through all the cr@p. I spent hours and multiple fiverr to find several good suppliers.

The video providers are the cheapest labor going. You just have to think outside of the bogus reviews and testimonials.

Get them reading PLR articles etc.

    Here is an example.

I have used fiverr to out source very specific jobs, not creative type work. I have been happy with work done so far.

Just dipping my toe in selling a service myself on fiverr.

That is what I am doing.

Fiverr is not too bad. Just be specific about which tasks you want outsourced!

So far, I would say I have been 90% successful in the jobs I've ordered. Overall, I like the process and the more I use it the better I get at judging who will work out and who won't.
