Please Evaluate my Squeeze Page options

Hey Warriors,
I've been looking to purchase some solo ads and will have some ads sent out shortly. So I need your help to evaluate which squeeze page will fair me well as to maximize my investment.

I've recently been using a squeeze page from a warrior who gave out his mentor's squeeze page in the war room.

It has worked quite successful for me thus far about 50% conversion rate on average:
FREE FBML Code->Cash COW!

However now while looking for solo ads someone told me my squeeze page was too wordy so I tried to make an effort to make it more organize and have the opt in form above the fold to increase conversions.

I found a free form in the warroom that was supposedly 60-70% Conversion and thought to work with it. so I've personalized:
FREE Viral FBML Code <-Facebook Cash Cow!

I'd like your opinion on which one you think will convert best and it'd also help if you could tell me if there is any changes I can make to make it better. There's always room for improvement; especially from a novice list builder like me

I look forward to your helpful and wise insights.

Kindest regards,
Benjamin

    Benjamin,
Nice page, nice product (I am using FBML on my fan page)
I am not a copywriter so I will not deal with the text but one thing really caught my eye -
Why is there an ad at the bottom ???
As I see it, the sole purpose of a squeeze page is to squeeze an email address - that's it!
your thank you page is well built - put the ad at the bottom of this page if you like
but not on the squeeze page.

One more thing - I miss some graphic elements. at least something that connects your product to Facebook, it's not always obvious.

    good luck,
    Ido

Hi, Could you try both and see which one does better? The proof is in the pudding, after all. Personally speaking, the second one puts me off because the top right corner looks like an advertisement, and because I can see from the get go that you want me to give you your email address. Whereas, the first landing page feels more like a call to action and because I can't see that you want my email address at first, I'm more tempted to read the copy.

Thanks; I was contemplating putting that in but gave at the last minute.

My Reasoning was people want a reason to believe but they are very skeptical.

Seeing something free you'd probably be skeptical thinking he probably wants to sell my email address or exploit me in some where.

Although we know that squeeze pages are meant to gather email and privacy will be maintained but I remember the first time I saw a squeeze page I was afraid to give me email because I was wondering; what do they have to gain from it?

I meant to put that there sort of to make the deal a little more realistic.

      Thanks Mari,
That's a good point but if possible I'd prefer to go straight to the get-go and find one that works best. I know the first one is tested and working.

Considering I probably only have one shot with each solo ads in each list; I'd prefer to make an educated decision instead of one that is filled with tweaking. definitely will tweak but want to be educated in my decision.

The second is supposedly 70% and the mentality is that the opt in is above the fold so it's easier I guess but it can also be a con and an issue.

Great point you have there though.
