Best Stock Photo Site?

INTERNET MARKETING

Hey Guys,

I'm looking for a stock photo site that lets you really drill down what you're looking for.

For example, I really need an "age" option, where I can plug in whether the model is in his or her 20's, 30's, 40's, etc, then plug in what the setting is (hospital, boardroom, courthouse), etc. I know there are only so many photos out there, but I need a specific search option.

Any ideas?

Hey Dan,

If you are happening to be using Wordpress platforms,
then there is a free plugin that gets you access to 20 million
FREE images from Getty Images plus a couple of other outlets.

Just key in this phrase when you click on plugins and add new...

I use stock.xchng - the leading free stock photography site... Always worked well for me

Istockphoto has a great search function but I don't know if it can get narrowed down as specifically as you want. You can try the search without sigining up.

I don't *think* they offer the filtering you need, but I use these ones sometimes..

Personally, I like using http://www.bigstockphoto.com for my stock image needs.

I know that the stock photos aren't free, but the cost is pretty reasonable and they do have an advanced search function, so it might be a viable solution for you. No harm in giving it a try

  I've always used FOTOLIA because I can get good shots for a buck. I'd rather pay for good shots than get crap from bad sources. Nothing kills a site for me like bad images.
  
  And I like to pay for the unlimited usage, so the dollar doesn't bother me. I can sleep at night knowing I won't get any nasty letters from anyone.
  
  Also, if you use a bit of Photoshop you can take a few dollar images and make a really nice header.
  
  Photoshop isn't hard. I will be adding some free lessons on it at my site in the near future.

I recommend istockphoto and getty image. I believe these two are among the most commonly used by people today.
