I've got a domain name that's job related that Id like to do something with.

I'm thinking of installing wordpress on it & finding a way to scrape job
posting from craigslist or some other job sites is there anyway to do this.

There definitely is- indeed.com has been doing it for years. There's lots of money to be made in aggregation services.

Using Wordpress, you could make a simple version using an autoblogging plugin like WP-o-Matic and feeding it RSS feeds from various other job sites.

Off the top of my head...

    • Pull a feed from crazedlist.org
    • Run it through Yahoo Pipes to clean it up
    • Drop it into your blog using an RSS tool/plugin like FeedWordpress

Kelly, how can I export job feeds for all the major cities
without typing in a job description for each position.

How can I clean up the feed at Yahoo Pipes.

There are definitely tools out there to do this, just not familiar with them myself. I use tons of scrapers and their power is limitless. Check out ListGrabber software, a yellow page scraper just to get some ideas

Did anyone come up with a way to do this? I am looking to integrate some housing listings into a real estate site?
