Niche Explosion - Is There an Affiliate Progam for This?

Hi all!

It's been in the news here (and online) that now that Barack is our new soon to be Pres, gun sales are through the roof since he's talked about limiting or banning certain weapons. Like they can't keep them in stock enough.

I already have my handy dandy .38 special Smith and Wesson my daddy gave me when I was younger (i'm Texan you know), but many people are apparently stockpiling now.

Prices are also soaring - on guns, gun safes, bullets, etc.

So anyone know if there's an affiliate program for this niche?

Can you even BUY a gun online? I would think that's odd but I'm sure it's possible, somehow, right?

Tiff

    Wouldn't get too excited, Tiff.

The "gun sales" being discussed are mostly for AK-47 and such. And, according to reports I've seen today on all 3 major networks, the dealers can no longer get their hands on 'em.

Suppliers say there are no more available at this time.

One gun dealer being interviewed said.. it's funny how a rumor about the sale of these guns can make a run like this start. It's sad, but my bank account loves it!.

I know you can't buy or sell firearms on ebay, so I would imagine that the rule encumpasses the entire internet.
You have to fill out paper work and there is a waiting period of 20 days in most states.

I don't recall seeing a site selling firearms. Anyone else seen one?

You can buy guns online but it has to be shiped to someone that holds an FFL. There you have to fill out paper work and go through the background check before you can own the gun.

There is two websites that I use often for buying guns. One is an auction site, gunbroker.com and the other is an honor system site and it is gunsamerica.com .

Gunbroker.com does have a affiliate program.

The gun niche is a very big one. Some of the gun forums have huge numbers of members and are extremely active. It could be a really profitable niche if someone could figure out how to work it. Also, highly competitive.

It's not just the "ban on AK-47 type" of assault weapons that's causing the run, either. The newspapers, etc I read were saying that those who didn't support Obama fear another terrorist attack on our soil, so they want it for self defense, too.

Thanks for the affiliate info Rick!
