ArticleMarketer.com? Anyone used it?

Is anyone familiar with this service? I've heard good things about it from Podcasts.. but I've not heard much on this forum. I am thinking of joining. Anyone have any input?

I am using them right now.

They deliver what they promise. However, in my opinion, their customer process sucks.

I know that might sound a little harsh, but sometimes getting an article approved by their editors and ready to go is something that makes me want to kick them in the knees

In the past, I used UniqueArticeWizard.com and had a good experience, but they have since raised their price to $67 a month where you can get article marketer for 3 months at that price almost.

I considered using Isnare, but there was a big warning sign when signing up that said they were sorry about delayed approval times and it was dated back in October I think, so decided to stay away from them for now.

Article Marketer is a very good article directory but like Jeremy said, getting something approved sometimes makes me want to hurt someone. They have an automated system which I feel checks only one thing per review. So on the first review you get something saying, you need to change the title on your article, you change it, the next review it says you have to change the way your link is place, the next review and so on and so on.

I wrote them once and asked why they dont give you all the issues with the article in one shot, instead of dragging it on for weeks....they never responded.

Again, when you get your article approved you get some good distrubtion but getting it approved isnt fun whatsoever. I would suggest newbies to stay away from article marketer fof the time being and only used it after you have some experience with article marketing.

The back and forth from AM is enough to drive someone crazy, especially someone just starting out.

Just be sure to create a different email address when you sign up because they use your email address to sign up for accounts with several article directories who send you A LOT of email.

I used ArticleMarketer a couple of years ago, so my thoughts might be irrelevant now. But here they are anyway:

I had a small one page site. I promoted it solely through articles distributed via ArticleMarketer's service. Within a few months, my brand new site had a PR5 ranking.

As I said, I did no work on it other than submit the articles. I have no idea how the Big G works, but there you have it. The results were terrific back then.

However, I had two major problems with AM. The first, as others have mentioned, was their stupidly pedantic quality control. Article turnarounds could end up taking far too long. Not good for those who value their hairlines. The second problem was that I could only use one pen name, which really narrowed the number of niches I could shoot for (I'm not sure whether they have amended this in recent times)

I have also contemplated using this service. For those who have used it, is it possible to submit all of my articles that are already accepted on EzineArticles?

Or will they reject them since they are already out on the web?

Yes article marketing is very powerful as you can submit them all over the net then other people use them for content with your backlinks intact , I actually post about article marketing on my website time to time , just little tips and tricks to help you along the way. But it is very powerful form of marketing if done correctly

I use article marketer. I've had trouble targeting keywords that are mispelled or have a word left out in a long tail. They send it back and tell you it's not correct. Also you can't link back to your ezine articles with it which really pisses me off. The approval time is a pain as it only tells you one problem then makes you wait a day sometimes before telling you there is another problem. The thing I wish I had known before is that your going to get something crazy like 200 emails a day from places they've signed you up to. For the price they charge though it sure saves a lot of time.

I got hip to ArticleMarketer after reading one of Rich Sheferen's reports.

The approval process sucks... once past that, it's smooth sailing

I think article marketer sucks. I made the mistake two years ago of buying a life time membership for four hundred bucks. It sounded good until I started trying to submit articles.

The same articles that I would submit once to all the other article sites like ezine article, and goarticles, would take a week or more to try and get approved with article marketer. I would have to fix one imaginary problem after another.

I tried several times to contact them, and no one gets back to you.

And as others said your email gets flooded with spam. I don't even use them any more because it just isn't worth it.

      My opinion is stay away.

Don't know about all of that, Article Marketer is due to raise their rates to $999 (lifetime) this month and just relocated to a new cloud server system- people are paying...

And with the "news" (if that was news to some people) that Google has no duplicate content penalty, AM with all their editorial "hoops" will be doing just fine.

      Best!

I use Article Marketer and have been pleased so far. I had issues with getting articles approved in the beginning, but after submitting many they are almost always approved on the first submission.

AM is great for building backlinks, but I haven't received a tremendous amount of traffic from the article directories. The traffic comes in primarily through search engines.

At first some of my article submissions were flagged for boring titles. I focused so much on my keywords in the title that I forgot to create compelling copy to draw a reader to click on the article brief description. AM did not approve these articles because they said that article directories will not pick up articles with boring titles (which they were).

Other issues that I am expect are common:

        From Article Marketer: "Problem Noted...

Your Description contains some non-text characters that did not translate to plain text. Many times graphical bullets, MS Word "curly quotes" or non-English language characters cause this problem.

        FINDING THE NON-TEXT CHARACTERS:
You will find the non-text characters highlighted in the article text. To see the highlighted text, click the link that is the title of your article (on your Author Account page) and look for the highlights.

        TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM PERMANENTLY:
Change the settings in your version of MS Word so that regular quotes are not automatically replaced with curly quotes. Visit Microsoft Help for instructions.

These characters do not always render well on websites or in email newsletters. You do not want your article filled with empty squares or question marks upon publication. These characters cause technical problems with RSS feeds, which could limit your exposure. Please correct your Description."

        Try:

From Microsoft (for Word 2003): "Microsoft Word automatically changes straight quotation marks ( ' or " ) to curly (smart or typographer's) quotes ( or ) as you type.
To turn this feature on or off:

        1. On the Tools menu, click AutoCorrect Options, and then click the AutoFormat As You Type tab.
        2. Under Replace as you type, select or clear the "Straight quotes" with "smart quotes" check box.

Note You can find and replace all instances of single or double curly quotes with straight quotes in your document. To do this, clear the "Straight quotes" with "smart quotes" check box on the AutoFormat As You Type tab. On the Edit menu, click Replace. In both the Find what and Replace with boxes, type ' or ", and then click Find Next or Replace All.
To replace all straight quotes with curly quotes, select the "Straight quotes" with "smart quotes" check box, and repeat the find and replace procedure."

Another solution is to simply use NotePad to create your articles.

I find that the articles submitted without issues are approved in about 24 - 36 hours.

        My two cents: Thumbs Up.

I am quite satisfied with ArticleMarketer.com as I have been using it for the past 11 months. Although sometimes they do take a longer time to respond to customer's query, their submission and distribution service is good.

Only bad thing is that it does not allow the use of pen names.

I use Article Marketer and I'm pretty satisifed with their service. Once you understand why your articles are getting rejected so you can abide by their rules, you should have no problem getting articles approved straight away.
