High Search Volume or Longtail?

For those of you who buy articles, would you rather buy articles with the highest search volume keywords or longtail keywords?

I would prefer higher volume search keywords contents one. After all it's all about traffic dear.

rank for enough long-tails and you will find you will rank for the short ones at some point. Probably not much faster focusing on short words as on long tails that include those short words.

Both. I like being in high traffic markets as well as low competition markets. But the longtail still need to meet minimum traffic numbers or there's no point.
