Help with Delivering Bonus?

Hi there,

I have recently created a bonus for an affiliate product, but because I am relatively new to the internet marketing world I am stuck on the delivery process.

I have seen many marketers write something like "If you email me the receipt of your purchase, I will send you to the link to download my bonus package", but I doubt the marketer emails the bonus link manually to every person who buys the affiliate product.

Can anyone tell me how I can deliver my bonus product on autopilot to only the people who purchased through my affiliate link?

Thanks!

If you have a Gmail account, you can do this - Go to settings, and under 'general'...scroll down and you'll see a setting called "Vacation Responder". Put the dates that you want the responder on, and anybody who emails you will get the response you put in there. The only downside if that you won't really be able to know if they're actually buying under your aff link...

The right way to do it is to get them onto your list first. You're doing it backwards. Deliver your bonus up front. Use aWeber to manage you subscriptions and auto-responses.

      • Hi

Very often email services provide an option to create "rules" for what action it will carry out in certain circumstances. Therefore depending on which email service you have, you could set something up that would "look" for certain text within a mail (this could be something you know will be in the receipt the client will be forwarding to you), and when it sees this to automatically reply with a mail including the link to the bonus.

Obviously the one thing you would have to be careful with, is the text you set as the trigger is not something that will be commonly found in a mail. If you don't do this, every time the text was received the bonus link would be sent, whether you had received the copy of a receipt or not!

        I hope this helps.

        regards
        Andy

To Automate this process I talk to the supplier of the affiliate product and ask them if they can associate this bonus with the specified affiliate link. Most owners don't have a problem with it, if you are one of their major affiliates. Otherwise the other process I use is getting my VA to send it out to them once They have bought the package and have supplied the reciept.
