Does nobody have banner ads for their clickbank products or am I jus blind?

Hey all

I have recently started looking into promoting some clickbank products in the offline marketing niche and boy is there lots to choose from...

Now to my problem, I look at the marketplace and find several interesting products I'd like to promote but all I can find is a way to create a text-link.

Do I have to look somewhere special to find banners and some incentives etc. that I can place on my website?

for instance, If I wanted to review an e-course, I would love to be able to attach some graphics to my review. or just some sidebar graphic links.

Do I have to contact the vendor directly for this or am I just not finding the right button in clickbank?

    Clickbank does not provide promotional material. The product vendor's should have an affiliate page with banners,emails, etc. If they don't consider a better promotion.

      Ok then its not me thats going blind

      I just have to find the right vendors that have affiliate pages with graphics etc.

        Most vendors have some sort of affiliate back end. Just scroll to the bottom of their sales page and you'll usually see an "Affiliates" link.

        Also you can make your own banners very easily. Just find a picture that looks good, usually you can find all sorts right on the vendor's main sales page and you can create a link using the image as the "link text."

        Also, be sure to save the picture to your hard drive first, upload it to your website and then create the linked image. Hot linking another person's picture is a no-no

          Why is this a no-no? due to copyright? or the fact that it might get taken down from the linking address?

            Well generally you want to only have pictures up to which you own the rights. However, most vendors couldn't care less if you use their pictures to make them more money

            The thing is if you hot link their picture, you're using their bandwidth. If they have 100 people doing it, then their website could be taken down because all their bandwidth has been used up. An extreme example, of course, but it's just good manners to host the picture on your own site.

    I totally agree with you on this, I've checked out several products in big niches--and they have very little in the way of affiliate material.

    Unless, the sales page is really good, I would stay away from these products.
