The buzz word for marketers at the moment seems to be Facebook. Facebook fan pages, groups the advertising platform are all hot right now.

While I expect there'll be great opportunities in Facebook for a long time, it is certainly something that is beginning to mature a little, just like Twitter marketing has, Digg marketing did etc. It's more likely to get more difficult from here on out than easier as competition rises.

The smart early birds were exploring Facebook a couple of years ago.

So where's the next new emerging marketing opportunity?

Is it in cell phones?
Is it location based foursquare type stuff?
Is it advertising through online music sites like last.fm and spotify?
Is it in-video pre-roll/post-roll ads?
