Tell Me What's Happening - Google is Referring Site

Over the past month my website traffic has doubled and the impressions noted in Adsense has tripled. The Analytics for this site says the majority of the traffic is coming from Google as referral sites: google.com, google.co, google.ph, about 25 different googles. This website is over three years old and hasn't had any significant changes.

Anyone know what is going on? Unfortunately, the number of Adsense clicks and affiliate sales have not increased with the traffic.

As you may have heard changes in the Google algorithm (June was last) often results in lost traffic but in some cases can result in traffic gains (lucky few).
Sounds like this is the natural result of google recognizing your site and ranking it fairly well for your chosen kw title phrase and tags.

Lack of conversions tell me that the traffic coming in may not be specific enough for the offers being presented.

What's really strange is that the page that the traffic is going to is not actually a part of the website, it was just sitting in the directory. There are no links to that page on the website.

The way I knew something was happening was that I started getting so many Adsense impressions and I knew I didn't have much Adsense on this site. The few extra dollars a day is nice to have but it's dragging my % down to the low single digits. I had read at one time that if you have low CTR, it can affect your amount per click of other sites.
