keyword research webinar strategies

I posted a message earlier today and got several helpful replies, but then the thread was deleted, so I will post again without any links.

I used to teach online classes for beginners on how to do basic technical things in internet marketing. The company that paid me to do this has gone out of business. After months of not doing anything (including not doing what I was teaching) I find that I really miss it and want to get back in.

My question was, how to get my webinar in front of interested people. I plan to do a free webinar and give basic how to information and then at the end of it, to offer a good price on membership site where much of the grunt work is done for you (mainly through software automation)

the topic for my first webinar is keyword research.

A great answer given was to offer it via free WSO. I plan to do this over the next few days, possibly next week.

I do have an email list of previous students and I have sent out an email and gotten a fair number of signups for the webinar so far (around 50% of those who opened the email have signed up.)

But I want to get it in front of new people - not just people I already have a relationship with.

Any suggestions or comments? Again, I like the free WSO idea and will do it. (I have to sign up to be a war room member and all that first.) But I am looking for other ideas too.
