The best way to find a niche is to ask yourself what your passions are. Do you have any hobbies you are passionate about?
The more you know about a certain niche the better off you will be. And the more your content is believable to your future customers. So pick a niche that you know alot about or can learn about and go from there.

I'm new to IM myself so I'm not sure if this will help. I agree with FWHaskins. It's important that you choose a niche that you are highly interested in and knowledgable about. It's so much easier to get people interested in what you have to say if you write it with so much passion.

Once you've decided what niche to go for, brainstorm a list of keywords and use the right keyword research tool to analyze the level of competition, keyword value, monthly searches, etc.

Tip: Only choose valuable, high traffic, low competition keywords

  • I just had a look at your website and I saw that you have an interest for religion, nature, health and nutrition. From my experience the field of health and nutrition is so vast that you'll encounter too much competition. However a niche dealing with a life-style which combines religion and nature could be something that may interest a potential clientele.

My guess is that maybe a niche in the health and nutrition field may be low comp keywords.

What is a the ways you can check competitions keywords again? Also I assume he needs free tools.
