  It's promoting Clickbank products as an affiliate to people with whom one makes contact on Twitter (I think).
  
  I know Twitter went through a phase of banning people for this, but that was about a year ago and I haven't heard anything much by way of warnings about it recently.
  
  It sounds to me like a sort of scattergun, minimally-targeted attempt for people who like "as much traffic as possible" and don't mind a very low conversion rate. But then again, if it works (and really doesn't contravene their terms of service?) then I suppose it works. I can't say I find it even remotely appealing, myself, but then with no experience of it, probably I have absolutely no business posting in the thread in the first place.

Very much scatter gun in my experience. I find Twitter great for networking, and even getting content sydicated (in the form of retweeting), but as for taking a possibly very cold prospect, and turning them into a buyer I wouldn't imagine conversions would be great.

Are Twitter users in a buying frame of mind? It would be interesting to hear anyone who has had some success selling direct from Twitter tell their story.

For me, like many other once useful sites, Twitter has been turned into a spamfest.

I've never bought a Clickbank product through a tweet, bought an Amazon book though, from Jeff Walker's tweet on a book called "Attention! This Book Will Make You Money by Jim Kukral"

i tried this method using one of the retweet apps and the result is -No Sale.I don't think twitter users are buyers.
