Autoresponder and Hosting - suggestions ?

I planning to have autoresponderplus ( onetime payment) to my hostgator hosting.

Anyone had any success or your suggestions pls.

    I you want premium support then I can't recommend SteadFast enough. Host Gator comes third in my list.

    Have you tried Mail Chimp free account? Free Account has 1000 subscriber capacity.

    I haven't tried autoresponderplus so can't say much about it.

    Autoresponderplus allows me to host the autoresponder in my own hosting - thats the feature I really want. Just trying to find if any warriors had some success this method.

    Two things to be aware of if you self host.

    1. If you are on a shared plan with HG, then there will be a limit on the number of emails per hour. Means if you have a 400 email per hour limit, any email after that will not go out.

    2. Self hosted runs the risk of being black listed by email service providers if someone files a spam complaint. It's why the list services work so hard to maintain a spam free service.

    Something to think about.
