Well maybe affiliate sales are not a waste of time

I have been so busy selling my own products that I have almost forgotten that I set up an affiliate website for Jamorama 2 months ago.

I did this to prove to myself that the whole clickbank/affiliate sales thing is a waste of time and money when you have your own products.

Having made a sale I am now revisiting my opinion on this. I have done nothing on my guitar website since I set it up.

I have made plenty of sales for my own products - These are mainly non IM products but this affiliate sale has surprised me.

So here is my question.

Is there any good reason for my to revisit my guitar web site to boost affiliate sales or should I see this as a fluke and stick with my own products?

I think that most warriors here will agree on at least two things:

1) Passive income rocks.
2) Diversification leads to more security.

I think that covers it nicely IMO.

If you have made sales doing nothing with it, there is no reason not to update a little and promote a little then let it sit again

Jamorama sells quite well for me (when CB are working properly). Alot of my affiliate income is relatively passive (ie I just post the odd article to my blog or submit an article to EZA). Many of my sites that I've spent a few weeks working on initially continue to make sales a year or so later. I intend to spend alot of time working on some products of my own next year, but I'll definitely be holding on to the majority of my affiliate sites.
