Advice on Own Product

Guys I am a fitness trainer certified by American Council on Exercise, earlier i was a php programmer but along with that have been a fitness freak for more than 5 yrs now. I was planning to come up with an ebook on some topic but I am confused as to how to choose the topic and how will i go about the product if i get it ready.

I know i can add it on clickbank but i guess that wont be enough, what else will i need? Can you guys show me a direction?

    Go to Google Keyword Tool and test some hypothesis's as to what people are looking for. Try to find a niche where there is not too much competition yet (under 5 product or so).

    Instead of an e-book (which has low perceived value), create online courses with video. You can charge way more for these and they offer way more value. It will also be your competitive advantage against all pdf ebook sellers.

    To get ideas see what other people are doing. Go through clickbank and see what is working and what you can do to make it better.

    Or you can always find a smokin Czech girl named Zuzana and have her do work out routines using exercise products that you sell. Just set up a small e commerce site to sell the products and the wholeseller can drop ship them for you. Just post the workout videos on youtube and you are golden!

    You can create a website and can use marketing strategy like article marketing, youtube, etc. to market your product.
    Clickbank is also a good idea.

    I would check Google Keyword Tools first and find those 5 good keywords related to your topic. Use clickbank to see what keywords are being clicked on the most and apply them to your website or product. Then your last step would be finding 5 - 10 good traffic tactics...... example - Twitter, Facebook, Forums, Blogs, ect. Get a funnel and pour targeted traffic back to your site!!
