Hey all,

I am looking for an FTP program for windows 7. The current program I have does not work with 7.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

    Filezilla is a good one.

I always use FileZilla. It's the best. I just upgraded to the latest version
and noticed it now has tabs to multiple sessions.

    I use winscp and SFTP.

Plain FTP is far too great a risk to use because it sends everything, including your passwords, in plain text over the Internet. Secure FTP is a much better solution.

Also, never allow your client software to remember your passwords in case you catch some spyware that can extract it and use it to hack your web sites.

Because nobody has said it yet:

      FileZilla supports SFTP.

I personally use the functionality built into UltraEdit32, but if you're not ready to buy something, I have to agree - FileZilla.

I agree with Filezilla, Used it on all systems with great success. Also it has frequent updates which always a good sign for free software.

I agree with Filezilla for sure. It's easy to use and I have never had a problem with it.

I believe Filezilla is free and many people recommend it. I haven't used it, but if it's free, that would definitely be a good place to start. I use CuteFTP PRO, and it works fine on Windows 7. I've been using it for years, and I like it. I paid for the PRO version, but I think they have a free version as well.

FileZilla is awesome if you want a free FTP client.

However, like Keith, I use FlashFXP. Purchased it about 8 years ago and it's one of the best software purchases I've ever made. Highly recommend it
