New Contest - Prizes Wanted!!

Hi everyone

I am going to establish a series of online contests to draw traffic to my sites, and I wanting to tap into the Warriors for products that they believe are worthy of offering as prizes. I want to have a cap of $350 on the first contest to see how it goes, and I am wondering if this is the right thread to be posting the topic.

If I get that confirmation, I will post more details of the prize requirements and how you can submit your own products for consideration. If I am in the wrong forum, let me know and I will post where I should.

    Sounds like a good idea Bryce, (maybe the JV forum), I'm sure someone will point you in the right direction.

    One question people will ask is WIIFM (what's in it for me)

      Hi and thanks Kim,

      I thought about the JV forum and then thought I would check first, soo I will go there soon and put it up. In a nutshell I want to make it as good as possible for the contributirs of the prizes, so.....

      For starters I will be running the contests for 2 weeks each and during this time all prizes accepted in each of the 3 winning categories will be listed (with links) on the prize page. This would mean that anyone actually visiting the contest page, will at least be curious to see what the prizes are. This means traffic traffic traffic, to the contributors site.

      Secondly I guess is the fact that I will be paying for product, lol

      Thirdly, A contributor can supply more than one product, thus getting mass exposure to thier range. An example of this is where I have set the prize value for the winner at $200 (US) for the first contest, they can select one product in that range to the value of $200 or say one product at $75 and one at $125, the choice is theirs.

      And thirdly, From all prizes submitted, I will keep a popularity page running on an ongoing basis, and this would mean that over the period of say 12 months and 24 contests, a contributor may be ranked as the #1 product for prize selection, and this of course is seen by all people searching the site, particularly the prize page. These stats would undoubtedly influence off-contest sales of product as well.

      I will also be monitoring the experiences of the winners and their prizes, and these testimonials and client feedback submission will again be added to the site fo all to see.

      Thats about all I have thought of at the present time, although the idea only came into my head an hour ago No doubt after my shower I will come back with plenty more, lol

      Oh and finally - of course there will be no financial cost (maybe a sample product) for any contributors. They will just have to convince me that the product is one of integrity, along with a couple of other requirements, ensuring the integrity of the concept and value to the participants.
