To get help. We will need to know what you have done so far. Do you have a website? Do you have a niche?

    Please give us more information.

I don't know anything about the two programs you are asking about. I'm sure some of our fellow warriors will be able to help.

        Hi Angelos
As I have already stated several times on various threads, the golden rule for success is: Follow your heart, because you'll find your good fortune where your heart lies!
For a successful niche, choose one of your hobbies. If you hobby is fishing, for example, then set up a blog (I recommend Wordpress) on fishing, add a forum and make money from commercial adverts. Use social networks for driving traffic to your site (Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
        Good Luck :p

You might actually have some fun experience to work off of (and yes I ended a sentence with a preposition...)!

So you don't have a website? Big deal, get one. WordPress is a pretty fun, user friendly environment to start with, and you can start with a domain and hosting for a year for about 50 bucks. Not a bad way to start!

You can write about your experiences with networking, some of the equipment you've used, pitfalls, reviews, the best of xxxxxx, the best hardware firewall, the best wireless router, the best wired router, the best xxxxx. The best desktop wireless card, the best wireless notebook.

If you're an electronics engineer, let your love for all things geek SHINE! "How-to's and reviews" sites are great for people that have lots of KNOWLEDGE but lack PRODUCT.

You can make money in many different ways, but adsense and affiliate products would be a great start IMO, if you don't have a physical product. Low maintenance and easy to setup. Link to your affiliate product in each review, set a goal to do 2-4 products per week, get involved in social networks and building back-links to start building traffic.

And, stay with it, stay with it, stay with it!

(I'm just throwing some ideas out here, I don't know your particular interests but based on your experience as a computer person and CCNA, you could do well being a review jockey for products that people might be looking for reviews on, with a sales click-thru to your affiliate link. Further, wanted to explore an idea as a launching point possibility, instead of just giving the usual advice, but ultimately you have to find something that interests YOU, and then find ways to monetize it. Maybe you like the idea or not, but I hope it might open some avenues or get you thinking, at least.)

I don't know anything about those products either. There are basically a few ways of making money on the Internet and that is selling your own product, selling someone elses product or offering a service. Since you have mentioned you don't know anything then the offering a service and selling your own product might be out of the question for now. So that leaves you with selling someone elses product which brings you to affiliate marketing.

If by chance you do have some skills to offer you can look in the Warriors For Hire section and see what people are offering there and maybe you can offer something similar. Maybe you have a skill you can offer for a service and don't really realize it.

If affiliate marketing is your only option then I suggest you research affiliate marketing on the forum through the keyword search and read up on it to see if that is something you are interested in pursuing. If it is then focus your efforts on learning everything there is to know about it.

Good tips Karen. Affiliate Marketing would be the way to go unless you can create your own product based on something you have a good deal of expertise about.

Clickbank is a good way to start. They offer digital products that people can download and they pay very good commissions of 50% or higher. I would recommend starting your own site with wordpress and getting an autoreponder to capture email addresses and getting a list started.

That is a quick way to start and after getting a few sales under your belt, reinvest the proceeds to getting more traffic to your site.

For me, warrior forum is a cool place to start.
the problem is, there are too much information.
So, make sure that you know your goal and focus, such as:
I want to start making money from doing what I really good at, so, as I see, you looked skilled in computer.
Just get your first money from fiverr.com or warrior for hire.
after that, you can expand to google adsense/affiliate marketing

    • Angelos,

There are many paths you can take when you are new to the internet marketing world.

I see you are looking at affiliate marketing, really take your time when choosing.

to be good at affiliate marketing you need to be able to:
1: drive large numbers of targeted traffic to the website you choose
2: have a email list with a responsive list

Now many people do start with affiliate marketing and it can be very profitable if it is done correctly.

But let me broaden your choices.. have you heard of product creation?

This is where you create the product and get other people to sell it for you. I would highly recommend you look in to this as it has produced amazing results for me personally(and many others i know). i to started with affiliate marketing but the internet Marketing only took off for me when i started creating products and branding my own business.

Im just here to offer my advice to what i feel is the best way to start.

when i had my own products created and affiliates started selling them for me i instantly starting building a massive list of customers that have paid to buy my products and will continue to buy my future products.

I prefer to build a business that i can brand as my own.

as a affiliate marketer you do still build your own business of course, and i do take my hat of to successful marketers that started affiliate marketing without building their own product first.

But i always advice product creation as a great first step to take, it takes a lot of research and determination but the benefits are great.

Also go easy on what products you choose to buy, have a look in the wso section of the forum as there are some great deals with valuable information at very good prices.

Hang around the forums look for warriors that are well trusted and see what they have to offer, there are many products that are not worth the money they sell for, But there are gems hidden in amongst the madness

      Good luck

I'd hold off on buying products until I had more knowledge and more of an idea of what you would like to do. Many newbies just buy product after product, never finishing any of them and just getting overloaded and overwhelmed. If you haven't already, buy membership in the War Room. It's $37 one time fee and well worth it. A lot of great info in there.

      Hi Alexio!

And thank you for your great letter! I'm into creating my own business too, though what i do is building : distortion and fx pedals and amplifiers for guitarists and bass players, but this takes time and i suppose when you refer to creating your own product you mean some sort of ebook right ?

To be totally honest with everyone, I want to learn a lot about online marketing cause i believe that it will help me to sell more of my electronics devices plus give me an extra income to improve my other company ( fx pedals etc etc ) , because i know that when you start a business and you want to create something there are always risks and failures untill you establish a good name for your brand and when you are a small business you need to have an extra income beside what you do to make sure that you can "keep going"

I believe that if i learn how all this internet marketing works it will help me a lot through my business ( fx pedals , amplifiers etc ) and also open my eyes to make some extra money aswell

      All the Best,
      Angelo

    Angelos,

You have gotten some sound advice from a few people in here. I just wanted to drop my two cents off for you though.

I have noticed that you own a current offline business (unless I am mis understanding?). Take your knowledge from this and create your own product.

You say you create bassist and guitar devices, right?

Well.. Why not create a video tutorial series or a membership site based off how to build these products? You simply start building one from start to finish and record the whole process, while your building it simply tell them what your doing, why your doing it, what it will do for them, etc..

If your skilled you can do this with no problem at all.

Another thing, you say you specialize in computers and technology? What exactly do you specialize with this? You can create products on how to create a network ( I think I read that correctly?) and sell them for some cash flow.

Based off just the comments you have made there is numerous things you can do that a lot of people tend to be ignoring/thinking of...

And a tip... While I whole heartedly suggest joining the war room, I will have to disagree to join as of now.. Wait until you are 100% secure in your business model and what you want to do, including having a plan of action. Once you get in there you will get lost in the sea of possibilities and information available.

Someone you may look into following is Paul Myers, he has a book he gives away for joining his list called "Need To Know". I feel it is absolutely positively a must read for any new marketer looking to get started. You can find this at TalkBiz News: What you really need to know to succeed online - Online business building newsletter

One more thing, I have heard "of" those two products but have not really heard "anything" about them. If that makes any sense at least?

Anyways, good luck with your road and welcome to the forum!

    To our success,

    Matthew Roe

EDIT: I found where you were talking about the guitarist and bass distorters and pedals. I noticed you said it takes time to build them. Well, a suggestion I have to offer with this is the next time you start to build a new one, start recording the entire process. You can then create a membership site with your videos being uploaded weekly/monthly (based on how long it takes to do each section) and charge people to get access to your tutorials.

You can build a membership site fairly easy using wordpress and some plugins. One plugin I would suggest is Neil H. membership plugin. He has a wso thread offering a 40% discount to warriors.

His full extention and plugin pack runs about $50 and with it you get automatic aweber subscriptions, the membership software itself, an affiliate system, hiding of download links, and something else.. Not sure what.. You can view his thread at:

I would advise being very careful with your wallet when just starting out. There are hundreds of sites that will give you good free information. There is a lot to learn, you just have to start reading and teaching yourself the business. You will eventually find your niche. Good luck.

You can find this at

You can view his thread at:...

      Dear Matthew Roe,

Hi ! Thank you for your time to write all this ! Well about the computers i have Cisco CCIT and CCNA certifications , ECDL, and around 14 years of experience in fixing any computer or network problem that occurs in a pc. I am thinking actually to start with fiverr.com and see how that goes. Just to make a first buck

About the video tutorial idea for the pedals... that is very interesting... to be honest with ya i haven't thought of that

      All the Best,

You can always use Fiver to provide computer troubleshooting support.

You can open up an online troubleshooting blog and eventually add your own forum and possible call center.

        Angelos,

Whatever you decide if you add me on skype I will be more than willing to help you as needed.

    Hi Angelo,
a program I found great to start out with without needing any money (apart from buying a domain name and paying for hosting for your blog) is Affilorama. It's totally free (you can upgrade to a paid premium membership if you want to) and shows you very well through videos how to go about Affiliate Marketing and WordPress blogs.

Also great to learn about Wordpress is Wordpress Classroom, where you can watch free videos on how to set up and operate a Wordpress blog.

This is pretty much all you need for starters, and it won't cost you a cent.

Here is my two cents and what I am trying to get done:

find something you are passionate about and master the skill
      build a list of prospects
      create products
sell your products to that list
      repeat.

      Hope that helps

      Hi Angelo

I like johnny's stuff you can always get a few good tips but I would
start with affiliate marketing that way you dont have to worry about
creating a product you can build a one page site with an informative
article about the product you're promoting learn how to drive traffic
to it and get some commissions and this site could be about anything
and I mean anything, your first one should be about something you like
or at least interested in, one of my sites is in the learn how to play guitar
niche, but dont muddle around with it, pick something and throw it up the
best way to learn is by doing. SO JUST DO IT!

      You'll be alright.

I second that. Angelos, if you haven't bought any IM product yet, my recommendation is that you get War Room menbership at $37 because you'll have access to a ton of really good IM reports for free in the War Room which, in my opinion, is worth many hundreds if not thousands of dollars!

It also opens up a whole host of privileges to you that I'll leave you to find out. There is probably no better way of spending $37 if you're brand new to IM, im my humble opinion!
