Amazon Affiliate Tactic
The thing is Amazon is pretty good if you follow the the methods regarding finding sought after products and doing a comprehensive review on them.
However Amazon does pay very small commissions and only has a 24 hour cookie - so you could do a fair amount of work but still get little or no returns.
My spin on this is to do price research and find other manufacturer's or providers who have affiliate programs for the same product and if the price is similar or lower then add their link to the review along with Amazons.
This way you can create content explaining how along with the research on the product you have also looked for the outlets offering the best prices.
Now the thing is I am not sure if Amazon have a problem with this and have looked through their T&Cs which do go on somewhat - but could not immediately see anything that prohibited this action.
This tactic would surely add more potential for a sale as you are not just relying on the one affiliate.
