How Do You Self Publish Your Ebook?

Hey guys, I need some advice from some experience marketers who have self publish your books on Amazon.

1) I'm thinking that createspace is the best choice since it seems like the lowest cost and best services. But are there other better choices?

2) And how do u settle the book cover issue?

3) What about the copyright issues? It is copyscape free but is that safe enough for printing?

The only one I have used it Createspace.

As for a book cover, Createspace has something where you can create your own...

My first ebook sold almost 2,000 copies. I saved it as a pdf from Microsoft Word. Simple is sometimes the best answer.

Title, subtitle, picture, author. Arrange in any order desired on a background that isn't too busy to read them.

Seriously, go to a bookstore and look at the covers.

    3) What about the copyright issues?
If you wrote it yourself, there aren't any.

      Publis ur own book man.

      ebookgold.com

Lots of sites for u to do that.

I think u need some company and some websites to actually promote it for u and thats when Lulu come in (lulu.com/). he question is: Would u read from Lulu urself? Have a try and see if u like anything there!

After u had some succes with them u can aim for Amazon.

And even there its a fight and struggle to get on the top ten list, the first page i mean. For success u need some 10000 clicks on ur book on the first month, then u r going.

  • Publishing an ebook is a very effective strategy for promoting your niche. Please tells us a bit more about your ebook. Have you written it yourself or outsourced it? What is the title of your ebook? What is your niche? I understand this is your first ebook.

      Good tip on Smashwords.com
Had not heard of that site. Good to get your book out to as many places as possible. Also, you have to do a fair amount of promoting yourself.

Booklocker.com is another option. They are a much better way to go than Lulu (in my opinion).

If you're looking for print-on-demand, Booklocker is definitely the way to go.
