How did you first find the Warrior Forum?

I think I first heard of this forum in an IM related ebook I read back in 2003. I lurked for a while and ended up registering in 2004. I'm so glad I did. I conservatively estimate that I've earned hundreds of thousands of dollars from things I've learned here, probably more.

How about you? How did you first find the Warrior Forum?

It was listed under Forum Marketing in my Carbon Copy Pro back office in 2007, I ignored it for about a year and have been pretty active for 2 years now.

I don't remember exactly how I found this place but I'm
      glad that I did.

I do, however, remember coming here when Corey Rudl
      passed away in June 2005.

I've learned a lot from the forum too and particularly
appreciate the work done by the moderators.

Joseph Ratliff wrote a blog post about it. I knew him from Five Star and trusted his judgment, so I came over and decided to stay.

I heard of it through a course I took that James Schramko was promoting. James has his own interactive killer forum and someone mentioned WSO and I asked what's that? And I was directed here.

Only to be completely lost when I got here but since then between James forum and this forum I have learned a wealth of information that is absolutely priceless. I am still a little slow on the techy stuff but I am forever hooked.

I was reading an ebook (one of hundreds...) about how to market your own product online - it was a crappy report but the only sentence that caught my eye was
"Go to Warrior forum and propose a WSO, make it a good price"
    (this was a quote...)
on second thought, maybe this book wasn't that crappy after all....

I found it through another forum where someone was bashing the Warrior Forum. I believe it was AbestWeb, but I'm not 100% sure of that. Their arguments of why the Warrior Forum was so horrible was good enough to make me want to take a look.

They were right, this is a HORRIBLE place for anyone who wants to make money without effort.

I have no clue how I found it. I think I originally registered in June, then decided to make another account with my real name for my username by the time October came around and I didn't know it was possible to change it, got Help Desk to delete my first account, and settled in to stay.

I heard the whispered mumblings about it back around... oh, 2000 or so... on popular forums like Tony Blake's board. At that time people would link to it, but the mods on those forums usually deleted the links (by request) because it was still a closed forum. Eventually I checked it out, and I'm glad I did.

        Same!

I joined Jay's list while I was a member at WA and he sent out a message one day that linked back to a post here @ WF. The post was a simple, but extremely effective, article marketing model. I believe I spent the rest of that day reading threads here and trying to absorb as much information as possible.

My first exposure was via a message in the old Link Exchange Digest email discussion list. Took a peek, but didn't need the hosting and the idea of a cache of ebooks and stuff sounded dodgy. I wonder sometimes how much that impression cost me over the years.

Found it again when I decided that, in spite of the good people I'd met and the friends I'd made, network marketing was not for me. Visited on and off for a year or so before I signed up for an account.

I was making portal sites from 1994 through 97 when there was a big search engine shakeup (Google). I was trying to find all of the information I could and found an article written by someone who was a member.

Loved what I was reading and decided to check out The Warrior's Secret Site (I think it was $29).

The forum came with the deal. Hundreds of reports, ebooks, tools, secret methods for getting more traffic...

I don't remember if that original forum was the UniSol or if we had another one before UniSol.

I first noticed it when I purchased PIP's - but gosh, that had to be at least 4 or 5 years ago.

I dropped that, then "refound it" when people were talking about it at Wealthy Affiliate 2 years ago.

I'm so thankful for this forum - it is directly responsible for over 100,000 dollars earned in my business and ventures I've been involved in, as well as loads of cash indirectly earned through knowledge I have gained here!

I'm pretty sure I found out about the forum in the late 90's in a book written
    by Marlon Sanders.

If I recall correctly, the site was a pay site then and, just being out of college,
I couldn't afford it. At the time, it was MUCH more important that I funnel my
disposable income into scotch and women.

If only I knew then what I know now: Drink only single malt (it's about quality,
not quanity), pony up the fee for the forum and, as far as women go, well,
    SEE: single malt.

    Hi Ron!

How did I hear of the forum??
Early on one of the people i bought some products from mentioned they had used the warrior forum to launch a product.

I kept it in the back of my mind but never joined.
One day I was thinking "you know. I need some friends in the same kind of venture I learned so much but still don't know enough.
So I joined up sometimes I get a little hot under the collar I mean hey I am human and sometimes people just Irritate me. Being a member here now for a while and meeting the folks I have has been a tremendous blessing to me. Especially meeting one of my mentors from 10 yrs back Dennis Gaskill-Boogie Jack,Still love that name:p

Not to mention I have built relationships with folks like Ron and have received some absolutely dynamite advice.
One thing about forums is there are those who talk and those who do. I appreciate this place and have busted a few people too that is always fun especially when they are ripping folks off under a guise of testimonials etc.... I ended up spending so much time in here I started lacking in my efforts of business.LOL social interaction;gotta love Human Nature.
thanks to everyone I have met those who have encouraged me and been real. I love ya!

As far as I recall, one of the first customers of my old web hosting business (who later became quite a good friend) referred me here straight after discovering it himself. That was a number of years ago and I didn't join and begin contributing until much, much later.

Ironically, I was the one who - albeit being much younger than he was - first got him interested in online business. I found the warrior forum through Plug-In Profits (PIPs). When you signed up for that program you needed to sign up to Allen's hosting company Host 4 Profit. As a customer to Host 4 Profit you are given a free membership to the Warrior Forum.

I believe that was in 2002. I was hooked every sense. I do not know what my profile sign-up date is but I remember signing up and then later re-signing up under my real name. The first time I signed up it was under a pseudonym which I can't even remember.

But, I soon realized that having my own name was much more valuable. So, I re-signed up under my own name.

I cannot believe I've been doing this for eight years now.

So, ok, what's this Warrior Forum? Did a google search to see if I could find it.

I signed up and started reading posts. It must have been one of those times where there were several heated discussions going on and several people were getting torn to shreds in some threads.

That was pretty intimidating so it took some time to figure out who some of the regulars here were and to to get up the nerve to make a post. But, all went well and I've been here ever since.

I had used google to find out what an affiliate program was after enquiring about buying someone's site on a forum.

After figuring out what affiliate marketing was, I started promoting through free methods. I used Yahoo Answers back then and some of the answers I did still bring me a small amount each month, to this day.

I could never get it to much more than $150/month so I searched online using various searches about making money online, not sure all what I typed in the search box, and kept coming to warrior forum. I thought it a strange name for a make money online forum, at first, and the name just confused me so I clicked away. But with more searches in the same week, warrior forum posts just kept popping up so I started reading and eventually became a member.

It was only Google searches, for me, really.

I joined the Warrior Forum after reading Yanik Silver's book Moonlighting on the Internet. I was looking for a way to make money online, and I found his book at the bookstore. I bought the book, went through it quickly, and then he mentioned the Warrior Forum.

That was probably the most important tip I picked up from that book!

I Remember seeing the Site in December2009 January2010, I think I Heard about WF in a IM Course.

I Didn't Like Forum's Back then, & For Month's I didn't Sign up, as I Couldn't See anything really worth it on Here & I Saw alot of stupid Question's & Doubt of making money online & some Negativity.

lol THEN I found out Actually Sign up & Join the WarRoom, & Actually Look AROUND the Site lol & theres GoodStuff Everywhereeee

There's MANY People Who know what there talking about on here & Are Very Successful.

But also Getting alot Of people who are Less than Noob & just seem like they turned on the Computer.. & are wondering how the Money Spit's out? or which Button.. or... oh know it's Broken : (

I got a email from allen back in late 90's for the secret site and the community associated with it. I think I still have a copy of the email somewhere in archives on one of my hard drives, somewhere.

I asked around to a few people whether it was legit and what they thought, then signed up. Back then it was a paid membership for one lifetime payment, though the forum itself was never locked so anyone that knew how to find it could get in, paid or not. The forum was more a bonus on top of the secret site which had the largest collection of info I had seen about making money online in one place at the time.

I first heard about it back in about 2003 when I was read a post about the former Webseed.com. I've knew about it long before I joined. Now I wonder why I waited so long!

Crikey , i think a friend referred me or I saw it on a search engine, to be honest I joined then did nothing , no contribution whatsoever, however I have to say GENUINELY, its a great place to be, an absolute mine of info, which is good to both pick up from and rustle it up from the old memory bank,If the truth be told I think we all to some degree forget more than we know and use, and that info is what we all cut our teeth on, Great Job

Went to WIS in 2006, got suckered into a buying a really bad coaching course for $5k.

As bad as the coaching course was the best thing the 'coach' told us about was the Warriorforum.

I believe I first found out about this forum from an email that I received from an existing warrior in here; I was on his list and I remember he was very enthused about the community here and also about the huge potential of WSOs (I can't remember his name now though).
